THERAPY
Speech/Language therapy will be provided for students one to two times per week for 15-45 minutes with small groups of children at or near your child’s grade level. (Please note: When classes have special speakers, events, etc., students ARE EXCUSED from speech classes at their teacher’s request.) Students will be involved in various motivational activities to encourage oral productions and expression. They will work at centers, such as the computer, language master, and tape recorder, emphasizing their Speech/Language goals and reinforcing skills learned during their individualized drill time. Please note: substitutes are NOT provided for speech (except for long term absence) due to the structure and complexity of the program.
